I used a Google Chrome extension in a recent guest post that I did for Lynn Terry’s ClickNewz, to measure portions of the screen. It’s an indispensable tool for anyone using WordPress or designing their own WordPress themes and layouts.
You’ve seen websites where a clickable graphic in the sidebar is too far over to one side, or worse still, is cut off as it is too wide for the sidebar? And you’ve seen images placed on webpages that are too wide to have text wrapped around them, yet the text has been left to wrap? That sort of thing doesn’t help post readability. Both are good reasons to use the Google Chrome Extension, Measure It regularly.
