The AuthorSure plugin was originally designed to help you build your brand by getting your face in the SERPs and hence improving the click-through rate of your search engine listings. However, in August 2014 Google changed its policies so images are no longer shown in the SERPs.
AuthorSure can still be used for managing authors’ profiles on multi author sites using the following features:
- Extended Bio on the Author Archive page with full HTML, images, video, etc
- Author Box with avatar and short bio at the foot of each post
- Shortcode to display directory of author boxes for all authors
- Shortcode to display author box for the current author
- Shortcode to display author profile links for the current author i
- Ability to mark external links as rel=nofollow in author boxes on posts, pages or the author directory listing
- Ability to strip external links from author boxes on posts, pages or the author directory listing
- Ability to mark external links as rel=nofollow from author bios (on the author bio page)
- Ability to strip external links from author bios (on the author bio page)
